Quality
Evolution allows the user to define standard tests which are identified by the use of QARs -Quality Attribute References. Each QAR can contain up to 999 lines of descriptive text. Each QAR can also contain up to 999 tests, which need to be carried out against a specific item. Each test defines whether it is mandatory or optional, whether it is to be included on a Certificate of Conformity, base values, percentage tolerances, quantity tolerances, rounding factors etc with descriptions and pass / fail indicators. These QARs are then used at both the goods receiving and production WIP stages to record results for future analysis and use.
Quality Audits may also be defined for departments and functional areas, where QARs are used to measure conformity to company standards.
