Production
Evolution allows production or works orders to be generated in 3 different ways;
- manually by direct entry of order details
- automatically by confirming an MRP generated suggestion and converting it to a firm planned or released order
- in response to demand by entering details to convert a sales order into a works order
At the point the order is created, the user can define which one of up to 999 procurement paths for the part will be used on this occasion. The component allocations are created and a scheduled route can also be generated. Operation dating, pick lists, rescheduling etc are handled by the WIP Planning module. After WIP orders have been created and released, their progress is charted by component issues, operation feedback, and receipts into finished or component store. The issue of materials can be accomplished in a variety of ways, providing issue routines for those companies with stock held in few locations and also the ability to issue on a line-by-line basis with multiple locations. Backflushing is also supported, and unplanned issues may also be used if required. WIP locations, to support bulk issue materials, can also be managed. Works orders can be generated for single or multiple items, also allowing by-products to be transacted.
